WHAT IS B-SWEET™?

B-SWEET™ IS A COMPLETELY NATURAL FRUIT SWEETENER DESIGNED TO REPLACE ARTIFICIAL, CHEMICAL, AND HIGH GLYCEMIC SWEETENERS.
HOW IS B-SWEET™ PRODUCED?

B-SWEET™ is produced by harvesting superior grade fruits and drying them to moisture specification. The fruit is then infused with a natural-sweet solution until a specific equilibrate Brix range is reached. B-SWEET™ Fruit Processing involves a proprietary process, including distillation, extraction of high glycemic components, drying to juice powder stage, and sweet-infusion. INGREDIENT STATEMENT: B-SWEET™ (Fruit juice concentrate with Fruit Sugars, Powdered fruit, Natural Kiwi Fruit, Natural Flavors, Silicon Dioxide [anti-caking agent]).

WHAT DO WE NEED TO KNOW ABOUT B-SWEET™ AND ALLERGENS?

As of January 1, 2006, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requires food labels to clearly list any ingredients derived from the eight main food allergens: milk, eggs, fish, Crustacean shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, and soybeans. This requirement comes as part of the Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act of 2004 (FALCPA), an amendment to the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, and states that food manufacturers must use plain language to identify the eight main food allergens on labels (1). Because these allergens account for over 90% of documented food allergies in the U.S. (1), most consumers with food allergies will benefit from the new labeling requirements.

WHY IS B-SWEET™ NON-CEPHALIC?

THE CEPHALIC RESPONSE (ALSO KNOWN AS BRAIN-GLYCEMIC-INDEXING) IS RELATED TO THE BRAIN’S REACTION TO THE ORAL INGESTION OF SWEETENERS, FOODS AND BEVERAGES.

B-SWEET™ STORAGE RECOMMENDATIONS:

This product is hygroscopic and must be kept sealed in a dry, humidity controlled atmosphere. Recommended shipping and storage of 50 degrees to 70 degrees F (10 degrees – 21 degrees C), 50% relative humidity. Protect from moisture and heat. Cold storage is acceptable. Do not freeze. Refrigeration is acceptable. Do not leave in a hot car or any other hot or humid environment.

WHAT IS THE SHELF-LIFE FOR B-SWEET™?

B-SWEET™ EXPECTED SHELF-LIFE: 24 months @ < 75 degrees F, no humidity exposure, 3 years under Storage Recommendations conditions.
